How did you find your job at Outback:
She’s longtime friends with owner Chase Coates and his wife Renee. Chase told her he knew she’d be the perfect fit for the job.

How did you find your job at Outback?
 Outback operations manager Tyler Washburn knew him from working construction together years ago and suggested him for a job as a crew member.

gardening, hiking, fishing, puzzles, games. A huge horror movie fan, he watches 30 horror movies every October, ending on Halloween with “Nightmare Before Christmas,” a not-so-scary flick he can watch with his kids. He’s seen “It” 15 times.

How did you find your job at Outback? He started Outback Landscape as a teen, after years hanging out and working at his parents’ landscaping business

Pets: Dogs Harleigh, a Maltese and Bentley, a Yorkie

Hobbies: Flying planes (he got his pilot’s license in 2016); travel; cooking ribeye steaks and Brussels sprouts, shrimp scampi and chicken schnitzel; talking to friends in industry peer groups

How did you find your job at Outback? The job found him. His wife is friends with the wife of Outback owner Chase Coates. When the residential construction industry took a hit during the recession and Tyler had little work, Chase offered him a job installing irrigation systems. He worked his way up to operations manager.
