Landscape Apprentice

An entry-level role providing hands-on training in core landscaping skills such as safety, equipment operation, and plant care. Apprentices build foundational knowledge through structured mentorship, preparing to advance into technician roles.

Pay range: $17–$30 per hour.

Enhancement Technician

Focuses on installing plants, hardscapes, and aesthetic details with precision according to design specifications. Works closely with leads to ensure quality and client satisfaction. Requires technical skill development and physical stamina. Advancement toward Senior Technician or Crew Lead roles.

Pay range: $18–$26 per hour.

Maintenance Technician

Performs routine landscape tasks including mowing, pruning, irrigation checks, and seasonal cleanups. Maintains plant health with equipment and horticultural knowledge. Builds reliability and experience for supervisory advancement.

Pay range: $17–$25 per hour.

Construction Technician

Supports landscape construction through grading, planting, and hardscape installation. Emphasizes safety and growing technical skills on a pathway to leadership roles.

Pay range: $17–$25 per hour.

Crew Lead (Maintenance, Construction, Enhancements)

Leads daily crew operations ensuring productivity, safety, and quality. Coaches team members and communicates progress onsite. Serves as a critical step before Foreman positions.

Pay range: $20–$26 per hour.

Crew Foreman

Manages multiple crews or large projects, taking responsibility for scheduling, quality control, client communication, and safety enforcement. Coaches Crew Leads and drives operational excellence. Key leadership role with advancement toward Project Manager.

Pay range: $25–$40 per hour.

Irrigation Apprentice/Technician

Starts with irrigation system fundamentals and progresses to installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Develops relevant licenses or certifications on the way to Irrigation Crew Lead or Manager roles.

Pay range: $18–$30 per hour.

Fleet and Facilities Coordinator/Technician

Maintains and services fleet vehicles and company facilities. Handles repairs, cleaning, and inventory management to support operational efficiency. Opportunities to grow into Fleet Manager roles.

Pay range: $18–$26 per hour.

Account Manager

Builds and maintains client relationships, oversees service delivery, and identifies upselling opportunities. Acts as primary client liaison ensuring satisfaction and alignment with company goals. Career growth toward senior account or division manager roles.

Pay range: $55,000–$95,000 annually plus bonus.

Project Manager

Plans and manages landscape projects from start to finish. Oversees schedules, crews, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications. Strong leadership and organizational skills essential. Advancement to Production Manager or Operations Manager.

Pay range: $60,000–$85,000 annually.

Production Manager

Leads production operations across divisions, optimizing crew utilization, quality, and efficiency. Implements LeanScaper principles for continuous improvement and coaches foremen. Positions open pathways toward Operations Manager roles.

Pay range: $75,000–$110,000 annually.

Operations Manager

Strategically oversees overall operations including scheduling, budgeting, crew management, and process improvements. Drives business growth and profitability connecting field and executive teams. Leadership role with potential advancement toward senior executive positions.

Pay range: $95,000–$160,000 annually.

Irrigation Manager

Leads irrigation division operations including staffing, budgeting, and project delivery. Ensures compliance and exceptional service quality with technical expertise. Growth potential toward Senior Irrigation Manager or Operations leadership.

Pay range: $70,000–$95,000 annually.

Senior Irrigation Manager

Sets strategic vision for irrigation services managing large teams and complex projects. Focuses on innovation, operational excellence, and business development. Critical leadership role with opportunities up to divisional VP.

Pay range: $90,000–$120,000 annually.

Fleet and Facilities Coordinator

Coordinates fleet and facility logistics, maintenance schedules, and repairs. Supports operational readiness and resource efficiency with growth potential into fleet management leadership.

Pay range: $50,000–$85,000 annually.

Director of Construction

Directs construction division strategy, staffing, and project execution. Ensures alignment with company goals and operational excellence. Requires strong leadership and business acumen with executive role potential.

Pay range: $110,000–$150,000 annually.

Director of Maintenance

Leads maintenance division strategy, team development, client satisfaction, and system improvements. Drives growth and operational excellence as a senior leader in the company.

Pay range: $100,000–$140,000 annually.
