Do you give free estimates?

Yes, we offer free estimates for our maintenance services. For landscape designs, we charge a fee based on the complexity and time required to create a custom plan.

Are you licensed and insured for landscaping work? Yes, we are fully licensed and insured for all types of landscaping work, including public works projects. Our licensing ensures we meet legal, safety, and industry standards for residential, commercial, and municipal jobs.
Can you provide references or before-and-after photos of recent projects? Yes, we have a portfolio of before-and-after photos and can provide references upon request.
What sets your landscaping company apart from competitors? Our commitment to high-quality workmanship, personalized service, and sustainable landscaping practices sets us apart. We’re not just building landscapes—we’re building long-term relationships with our clients.
What are your payment terms and do you offer financing options? All maintenance clients must have a credit card, debit card, or ACH on file for autopay. Residential clients are billed weekly for completed work. We offer net 30 terms for commercial maintenance contracts. Financing is not available currently.

Landscape Design & Installation FAQs

Do you have a project minimum? Yes. Our landscape installation minimum is $5,000. Design-build projects typically start at $30,000–$40,000 depending on scope. If you’re a maintenance client, there’s no minimum for enhancement work.
If I select your company, when can you start? Start dates vary depending on the season and our current schedule. We’ll provide a projected timeline during your consultation.
What should I look for in a landscape contractor? Look for proper licensing, insurance, a strong portfolio, client testimonials, clear communication, and a commitment to quality and customer service.
Who will supervise the project? Each project has a dedicated project manager who oversees the work and communicates directly with you.
Can you maintain the landscape after installation?  Yes, we offer ongoing landscape maintenance services to keep your property looking its best year-round.
How do you handle changes during a project? Your project manager will coordinate all changes with you, and any adjustments will be confirmed in a written change order.
Do you offer warranties on your landscaping work? Yes. Plants and trees are warrantied for 90 days after installation. If we continue providing maintenance, extended warranties are available.
How do you ensure quality and longevity? We use premium materials, proven installation practices, and expert crews to ensure durability and long-term beauty.

Maintenance & Lawn Care FAQs

Will I have the same team every week? We make every effort to keep consistent crews on your property. You’ll also have a dedicated Account Manager overseeing your services.
Why do I need 26 trips per year? This frequency allows us to stay ahead of seasonal challenges, maintain your lawn and landscape proactively, and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
How often will you mow my lawn? Typically, we provide 26–28 mowing visits annually, adjusted for weather and site needs.
What services are included in maintenance? Mowing, edging, blowing, spring/fall cleanups, and general upkeep. Enhancements like mulch, pruning over 8 ft, or aeration are quoted separately.
What happens if it rains on my service day? We’ll adjust your service to the next available dry window to ensure quality and safety.
How is pricing determined? We use a mix of satellite measurements and site assessments to accurately price your services based on time, materials, and complexity.
Can I cancel service if needed? Yes. Residential clients must provide a 30-day notice. Commercial clients follow contract terms.
Do I have to be home during service? No. Most of our clients are not home during service. Just ensure we have access to gated areas if needed.
How are services scheduled? We create a seasonal service calendar tailored to your property. Adjustments are communicated as needed.

Lawn & Plant Health Care FAQs

Do you provide lawn care year-round? Yes. Lawn Buddies, our sister company, provides fertilization, weed control, and specialty treatments seasonally, year-round.
Are your products safe for pets and kids? Yes, our products are safe once dry. We always apply treatments with safety in mind and follow strict guidelines.
How long do I need to stay off the lawn after treatment? Typically 1 hour or until dry. We’ll leave instructions after each application.
How soon can I mow after treatment? Wait 24–48 hours after a treatment before mowing for best results.
What if it rains right after a lawn treatment? Some treatments are rain-safe; others are not. If necessary, we’ll reapply at no cost.
What are the benefits of plant health care? Healthier plants, better blooms, increased resistance to pests/diseases, and overall curb appeal.
Who performs treatments? Lawn Buddies handles all lawn and plant health care services. They’re certified, trained, and part of the Outback family.
